Whenever exams are over, have you ever... felt like burning up your notes or;
 wanting to get rid of your old textbooks that has been collecting dust in a small corner of your room?
Or had the trouble of selling your old textbooks?

Or when a new semester starts...
you are not willing to spend that much money on textbooks as you will only be using them for a few months?

Or looking for a particular textbook no longer in printing or cannot be found in Malaysia?

Solution;
1. procure a copy of it by means through the photocopier,but  it violates copyright concerns.

2. buy them from your seniors, but some are using the photocopied version too.

3. For students in Malaysia, why not try out Bookup.com?

BookUp was an idea of mine since two years back. It was to overcome one of the problems that a lot of students face, including myself, which is expensive textbooks. And to make things worst, we spend hundreds on books each semester and end up throwing them away after half a year. What BookUp aims to do is to provide students a place where they can sell their books. That would not only benefit the sellers, but it will benefit others who gets to buy the books at a cheaper price as well. It’s a win-win situation for everyone. And if you come to think of it, there is a plus point for environment as well.
 As founder of Bookup, Mike Chu says.
 While it's a waste to send your books on a recycling trip, especially when they are in a good condition and taking into account how much you spend on them, Bookup.my provides a proper platform for the sale and purchase of used books, from academic to non-academic ones,where in particular some books are given a rating as to their condition.

Through our project, we hope that in the future, we can also increase the literacy rate in Malaysia considering the fact that as happy as we are in the town, there are thousands out there in OUR COUNTRY itself who doesn’t have access to books and education. A lot people talk the talk, but I have decided to take the step to helping lending a helping hand to Malaysia. -Mike Chu
